Never Never Land
Nan & Grandad, you were one of a kind, the most hilarious, kind hearted people you ever could find.
Your home was warm & welcoming & always looked the part, Ramsay Close will always have a special place in my heart.
The garden was immaculate & the Volvo was always really clean. The furniture rich red & the decor always green.
Rounds of sandwiches, cake & copious amounts of tea, what I wouldn't give for one last chat & a visit down to Leigh.
I'd Listen to Grandads wicked laugh & watch nans beautiful smile, Remonise our happy childhood memories if only for a while.
I'd listen to stories about the Vicar & the rabbit next door, sometimes Silvia & Arthur & people we'd never heard of before.
If I could turn back the cuckoo clock & bring you both here I'd tell you how much we will miss you every single year.
I see you now clear as day waving to us from your front door. I wish I could take you back there, just one day more.
I won't say goodbye as this is not forever, our worlds just parted for now but one day we'll all be back together.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
